The Pilliga Ultra is a three-day running festival, celebrating the natural beauty of the Pilliga Forest. The event brings people together to experience the incredible biodiversity of this area firsthand by running 10, 20, or 50 kilometres through the forest.
This year runners will be hydrated and fuelled by MOOR, with our gels and drink mix available on course for competitors to replenish.
The Pilliga Ultra is an event to support the local community’s efforts to protect the Pilliga for its cultural and environmental significance by bringing more people to the area to discover and appreciate its beauty and bring much-needed tourism to the area.
The event will attract trail and ultramarathon runners from across New South Wales and beyond, who are yet to experience this often-overlooked part of New South Wales. Over the course of the weekend, not only will they be challenged physically, but they will learn about the First Nations culture, native flora and fauna through guided bushwalks and interactive workshops.
This is a family friendly event, with running events held over three days to encourage involvement from all family members, including the kids, who can participate in a kids race for free.
Sign up now for this unique grassroots event in an undiscovered part of New South Wales!
