- Blackcurrant is naturally rich in deep purple coloured anthocyanins and blackcurrant flavour, and has an exceedingly high antioxidant activity (ORAC).
- Our Tasmanian blackcurrant fruit powder originates from blackcurrants cultivated in Derwent Valley of Tasmania.
- Evidence from a number of studies suggests that anthocyanins can improve performance in endurance sports. Anthocyanins promote vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) which may lead to better blood flow and oxygen delivery to muscles.
