Massive congrats to Chris Dixon who just returned from representing Australia in Japan at the 24-hour Oceania World Champs. In this race Chris tested himself against some of the best ultra distance athletes in the region covering a ridiculous 233km around a track in 24 hours! Chris was 15th in the race and Team Australia took home the bronze medal.

Chris got through about 4 litres of our carb drink mix and 20+ gels throughout the race

“No gut issues at all. The drink mix saved my soul when it was hot!”

Chris obviously likes a long run and in addition to various 24hr, 100km and 100mile races he has also run:

  • 1000km from Sydney to Melbourne
  • 250km from Melbourne to his home town of Stratford
  • 300km in 36 hrs!

Chris is not just known for his athletic abilities but also for his dedication to various charitable causes. Chris has raised money for numerous charities through his running including TLC for kids, Lifeline and Free 3D hands. Chris’s daughter Gracie was born with a limb difference, and this personal motivation has fuelled his dedication and persistence to these causes. Chris is on a mission to raise 1 million dollars.

Chris has some more exciting events coming up this year including a “really silly idea to break a world record” and the Helping Hands Running Festival which we are proud to be a major sponsor of.

We are honoured that such an inspiring athlete chooses Moor Endurance to fuel these endeavours and we absolutely love supporting him.
